Soundtrack

Where can I find hexen's soundtrack in a downloadable, burnable, mp3 format? I already tried sycraft's mp3 download, and it gave me a zip file where i couldn't find the mp3. it wouldn't play on windows media player either. Help? :?:

did you extract the zip archive with something like 7zip,winrar or winzip?

if not then download and install this http://www.7-zip.org/

after it's installed you should be able to just right click the zip file and extract it to a folder which should contain the mp3 files. if it is that it does not actually contain any mp3's i'm uploading mp3's that i ripped off of the hexen: beyond heretic cd for windows 95.

i do not know the track names and windows media player thought it was barry manillo and renamed the tracks. but, it is the music from the cd.

it will be here: http://hex.esemdesign.com/Hexen MP3.zip

by 8:30 am mountain time. probably earlier. but, i extended the estimated time as it's only uploading at 21 KB/s.

There is this...

Hexen Soundtrack

The standalone, playable version should be up in a few hours.

The ZDoom soundtrack versions are also playable with something like Foobar2000 or XMPlay, as they can load music files straight from zip archives (which ZDoom .pk3 files are).

They're not "burnable" however, as they're all 48/24 (MP3 and Ogg versions were also sourced from 48/24, besides it's blasphemy burning lossy files to CD audio).

If you really need something burnable on a CD, a 44/16 version could be made. That'll take extra time of course, and the whole soundtrack is almost two hours long. So that's more like two CDs.
Download the Hexen Soundtrack.

It's been updated to version 1.1, now including a Chap_2r.mid mix.
Download the Hexen Soundtrack.
