Hexen 2 mods?

I can ´t wait. This is just taking too long, I just can ´t wait, i´m gonna...........make some cool singleplayer maps for Hexen 2. :) Does anybody here know about some cool Hexen 2 singleplayer maps, because there are tons of maps for Quake and very little for Hexen.

Also are there any function tutorials for hexen/quake. I really would like to learn how to import some advanced stuff like monsters, have some cool map ideas ;)

Have you ever used any later engine, like say id tech 4, to do any mapping? You could apply to map for Hexen: Edge of Chaos....I hear they are always looking for mappers ;)

I´m afraid I don´t have such skills, yet. But maybe in the sequel to Edge of Chaos ;)

Haktoria - game underdevelopment, based on hexen2 game, uses Hammer of Thyrion source code.

I have a mod! called Project: Peanut

36 spells, some of which are bestowed upon random archers! Also, you can actually pick up the barrels, sheep and carts.. carry them around or drop them on spiders for massive damage! :D

It has developed some since that page was eaten by the langoliers, I'll post the latest build in this thread when I get home.

I've Really, REALLY wanted to play this mod on some new maps! ;)

I've been curious to see what HEXEN 1 would look like as a mod for HEXEN 2. I know that HEXEN already has the Doomsday engine to make it look QUAKE-like, and it would be as redundant as making a DOOM mod for QUAKE 1 (which I someone tried to do, but never completed), but I find the programming of the Q1 engine in HEXEN 2 to be still rather unique. I have wondered what it would be like to enhance the enemies from HEXEN 1 with the unique animations and programmed actions of HEXEN 2's enemies, even though DOOM 3's engine would do better than H2's. I still am impressed with how Raven utilized the Q1 engine to create a distinct HEXEN-based world, and I wonder what might've been if Raven had decided to revisit the enemies and locations of HEXEN and HERETIC through their programming with the QUAKE engine.

I had thought of doing a rendition of HEXEN 2's box cover for fan art which just had "HEXEN" for the title, but I don't know what I should have in place of the naked weird demon with the snake wrapped around his body. A naked ettin wrapped in a snake? A brown chaos serpent? A bloodied skeleton? Or a flaming afrit?

Maybe you can get answer partial by replaying all Raven Software and Human Head Studios Games. Plus the Quake 1 and all their official expansion packs.
And try to ask Brain Raffel or Christian Rhinehart or John Romero or John Carmack.

Hecatomb is planned as third game after hexen.

Should be Heretic, HeXen, Hecatomb.
But in times of creation HeXen II is many changes happens:
Raven software has fired several staff, and six of them create Human Head Studios.
Raven software become part of Activision (a bad move on my look)
John Romero leaved id Software.

So who developed hexen? and who developed hexen2? answer : not the same peoples =(.

The next thing that is very interesting, the most is Hecatomb.

So using Unreal latest engine and collaboration of Human Head Studios with John Romero can be very productive in making Hecatomb!!!
And i feel this combination is lead to awesome game.
